A new Flyspray task has been opened. Details are below.

User who did this - Christoph GrĂ¼ninger (gruenich)

Attached to Project - DuMuX
Summary - Remove cryptic, cluttering lines in C++ files
Task Type - Bug Report
Category - Discussion
Status - New
Assigned To - Christoph GrĂ¼ninger
Operating System - Unspecified
Severity - Low
Priority - Low
Reported Version - SVN
Due in Version - 2.7
Due Date - Undecided
Details - I would like to get rid of the indention hints for vi and Emacs. They
are distracting and frightening. Do we really need them?

I am talking about lines like:

// -*- mode: C++; tab-width: 4; indent-tabs-mode: nil; c-basic-offset: 4 -*-
// vi: set et ts=4 sw=4 sts=4:

The hints might even be false, nobody seems to correct them.
