I personally haven't encountered the issue you described. It could be
related to a certain version of dune you checked out.
Do you really need dune-functions?
If you only want to run dumux, I recommend the following, as described
on our webpage:
Create an empty folder, e.g. called "Dumux".
cd Dumux
for MOD in common geometry grid localfunctions istl; do
git clone -b releases/2.5
https://gitlab.dune-project.org/core/dune-$MOD.git;
done
git clone https://git.iws.uni-stuttgart.de/dumux-repositories/dumux.git
./dune-common/bin/dunecontrol --opts=dumux/optim.opts all
This should provide you with a clean installation of Dumux.

Dear Kaiyi,
it looks like you are trying to compile the test from within the source
folder.
Please follow the installation instructions given on
http://www.dumux.org/installation.php
The important point is to run
./dune-common/bin/dunecontrol --opts=dumux/optim.opts all
from your root directory (the folder, where all dune modules including dumux
lie).
This creates a folder called build-cmake in your dumux folder. There you
will find the tests and you can just compile your test using
make test_box2p
