I am currently researching transpiration cooling flow through porous media in my Masters research project at the University of Bath, and have identified that your DuMuX software will benefit the research greatly. However I am struggling to understand the operation of the software. I wish to create a very simple 1D, single phase flow simulation of Forchheimer flow of air through a porous specimen for which the intrinsic permeability, forchheimer coefficient and pressure difference is known. Would you be able to point me in the right direction for creating and running this type of simulation? You will be cited in my research as a result of your assistance.
