Dear DuMuX Users,

I am trying to incorporate an "inert component" as a hydrodynamic tracer *in the 2pncNIMin model*. This tracer should only be present in the wetting (liquid) phase and shouldn't be able to diffuse into the non-wetting (gas) one.

A couple of questions :

1/ As the problem is *Non-Isothermal*, should this tracer have thermal properties (such as thermal conducitvity, heat capacity etc.) and phase change properties (Critical temperature, pressure, etc.) /although it is physically considered not to contribute in any way/ to the energy transfer ?

2/ Is it enough to define diffusion properties (e.g. binary diffusion coefficients) relative to the only other component that we know is the main component of the wetting phase, or should we define it for ALL components present (although not physically relevant) ?

3/ Is it enough to set the fugacity of the hydrodynamic tracer in the liquid phase to 0.0 to prevent it from "diffusing" in the gas phase ?

4/ Is there any test problem where these issues are tackled in detail ?

Thanks for your help !

Best,

Joan
