Dear DuMux Community, It is our pleasure to announce today's release of DuMuX 3.4!
You may collect the new release via git: git clone -b releases/3.4 https://git.iws.uni-stuttgart.de/dumux-repositories/dumux.git or you can download the tarball at: https://git.iws.uni-stuttgart.de/dumux-repositories/dumux/-/archive/3.4.0/dumux-3.4.0.tar.gz DuMuX 3.4 is a minor version update and is backwards compatible with 3.3 apart from a few specific cases listed in the changelog. It still requires Dune >=2.7. Some highlights from this release are: * Three fully implicit pore-network models (1p, 1pnc, 2p) have been added. * Several utility scripts have been translated from bash to Python. * The Python tests now include a small finite volume example. * For shallow water, a heuristic turbulence model has been added. * The law for water vapor viscosity in gas mixtures has been improved. * The LinearPDESolver can reuse the matrix and thus avoid unnecessary reassembly. * It is now possible to choose an ordering strategy for the UMFPack solver at runtime. * The upwind interface has been improved. * The use of SubGridManager has been simplified. * and much more...
