Dear DuMux Community,

It is our pleasure to announce today's release of DuMux 3.6!

You may collect the new release via git:

DuMux 3.6 is a minor version update and is backwards compatible with 3.5 apart from a few specific cases listed in the changelog.

Some highlights from this release are:

  *   New Finite-Volume discretization schemes FCDiamond and pq1bubble based on Finite-Element spaces.
  *   Included non-creeping flow into the porenetwork upscaling example.
  *   Extension of multithreaded assembly to embedded problems.
  *   Fixes and improvements for multithreaded applications, grid caches are updated in parallel.
  *   A parallel scalar product for multidomain problems has been added.
  *   Geometry information of scv(f)s has been moved to the fvGeometry.
  *   A JSON reader/writer has been added.
  *   A helper to choose appropriate constraint solvers based on initial conditions.   *   The pore-network model allows for outflow of non-wetting fluid, fixes in pc snap-off calculation.
  *   and more.
