In conjunction with MSC Malaysia Open Source Conference 2010 MOSC2010, Red Hat Asia Pacific invites all participants to take part in “The Red Rules” Competition to gain a better understanding of how our virtualization, middleware and training solutions can help your organization fuel growth as well as drive cost savings and operational efficiencies. The duration of the competition is from 29 June to 1 July 2010. It is organized by OSDC.MY and sponsored by Red Hat Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. How To Participate? 1) Simply approach the friendly staff at the Red Hat booth to find out more about the Red Hat suite of solutions. 2) Complete the competition form: answer three simple questions and come up with the best slogan on how Red Hat suite of solutions can help your business. 3) Attach your business card and hand the competition form back to the Red Hat staff at the counter. Prizes The top three entries will each receive a Lenovo netbook. Terms And Conditions 1. “The Red Rules” Competition (Competition) is organized by Red Hat Asia Pacific Pte Ltd (Red Hat) and is open to all Eligible Participants. By submitting an entry to the Competition, you are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. 1.1 An “Eligible Participant” excludes the following: employees of Red Hat and Red Hat’s subsidiaries and affiliates and their immediate families; employees of Red Hat’s partners, distributors, retailers, and advertising and promotions agencies and persons involved in organizing, promoting and/or conducting the Contest; and any other persons that Red Hat may decide to exclude at its sole and absolute discretion without notice and without furnishing any reason. 2. Only one Competition entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries will be disqualified. 3.Qualifying Entries must be accompanied with a business card. 4.Decisions made by the judges are final and no correspondence will be entertained. 5.Winners will be notified via email within 3 weeks after the Competition. If a winner does not respond to the notification within five (5) business days, Red Hat reserves the right to select another winner and forfeit the prize. 6.Winners shall provide his/her original NRIC / Passport for verification of proof of identity / eligibility for receipt of a prize. 7.Prizes won must be accepted as awarded. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash (partially or wholly) or other goods / services, and are subject to their respective terms and conditions. Red Hat may at its sole and absolute discretion withdraw and/or substitute any prize with any other item of similar value without notice and without furnishing any reason. 8.Red Hat shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any claims, losses, damage, injury, costs or expenses in connection with or arising out of this Competition or on the redemption, warranty, use, maintenance or upkeep of the prizes. 9.Without prejudice to the rest of these Terms and Conditions, by participating in the Competition, each participant acknowledges and agrees to all entries becoming the sole property of Red Hat. Red Hat reserves the right to use these entry forms, content and information in any manner it deems fit, without the need to seek the consent of any party or make any financial payment or fees to any other party. 10.Red Hat shall have the sole and absolute discretion to decide on all matters relating to or in connection with the Competition (including but not limited to eligibility and the conduct of the Competition) and such decision(s) shall be final and binding on all participants. Red Hat shall not be obliged to enter into any correspondence with any participant on any matter concerning the Competition.
