This is my first post to the list; I'm very excited to be here. I'm an art student in Michigan and I have a Duo 280c (with a 2300c upgrade) and a DuoDock Plus, happily networked via ethernet to another mac. What a great machine! But I've been having some problems lately: 1. When I plug the Duo AC Adapter into the back of the Duo recently, the Duo does not recognize it and continues to run from the battery. If I wiggle the adapter and press up on it, the Duo will recognize it and draw power from the adapter, but then if I release the pressure, it returns to using the battery. 2. I've always been dissatisfied with the Duo's built-in keyboard, but now that I'm doing extensive typing on it I'm becoming more frustrated by its poor response. I understand that there are different models of the Duo keyboard; I'm not sure which one I have. Would upgrading the keyboard improve its performance? I would love to hear any comments/tips/opinions you have on these issues! nathan ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables.
