My old 280c had the same problem. A revision F keyboard fixed it right up.
One place to get one is <http://www.powerbookguy.com> in his service parts
section for $59.95. I've have seen him sell them on eBay too. He has a link
from his website. Sometimes you'll luck out and get it cheaper that way.
