You are not trying to use the LCD while docked, are you ?
Does J7 seat firmly ?
Is there another screen you can try and use with the 2300c ? It would be
nice to eliminate the possibility of a bad connecter. The fact that you get
video out is comforting.
Is the AC power adapter you are using with the 2300+280c screen the old
version (M7783, I think) ?
You could try a LCD screen tester (software) I have to see if you can
"wake" something up, but the SW is old and I dont know if it works with a
2300c.
