By coincidence i was looking at my groaning book shelves and saw
several years of BMUG annuals. I was a member for many years while
overseas, without internet and this were many only point of access to
mac shareware, information etc. Each year I would stop en route
through San Francisco to visit it and a number of other favourite
places.
Then one year their First Class ( a great Cdn, Mac based gui bulletin
board software program) site kind of failed under a system crash, I
got internet and the connection died.
I only thought about them the other day looking at all those
newsletters and disks, and wondering if it was time to pitch them?
I too wondered what had become of them.
Tom , you clearly put your finger on what at second thought is
obvious to us every day, that the revolution of the internet changes
ways of business, community and connectivity.

Thanks.........don
