Hello,

I just bought the second dock for my duo 270c off of ebay. The powerbook
orgianlly came with one but my problem was diagnosed as the dreaded "click
of death". Therefore I bought a new dock on ebay and used the powersupply
in both the new one and the original dock. I can get it too boot the
powerbook sometimes. But as soon as i plug it in after having it
unplugged; or if I eject the duo after use of the dock the motor inside the
dock begins to click. While the clicking is going on I can do nothing and
then all of the sudden the motor like catches and adjusts the posotion of
the grabbing arm and it will work after that. Is this normal because it
happens in both my docks. Or could it be yet another faction of the jicky
power supply. Any help is appreciated beyond measure.
