Hi:
SCSI Chains will drive you nuts.
Does your dock have a Hard Drive too? The HD in a duo dock could be set up at the
same # as your CD player.
Check that the switch on the SCSI connector (if present) is set so that the SCSI
chain works. Otherwise, you may have fooled your computer in to thinking it's a hard
drive connected to another cable by the SCSI cord.
On your system, do you have any scsi check program? If so , see that the internal HD
in your Duo is set at 0, and then reboot with the SCSI device plugged in, and see if
it is 'seen' by the scsi check program.
Did you use a terminator after the CD player?? If not, use one and see if that makes
the difference.
Just a few of the many problems you could have.
