You have 2 dead power supplies.  All Duo Docks sooner or later will require C28 in
the power supply to be replaced.  It's a genuine manufacturer's defect!!  I have 3
docks, and had to repair the power supply in each with a new C28  (99 cents at Radio
Shack).  A symptom of the C28 problem (unless you put in a new capacitor) is that a
duo dock works best if it is never unplugged from the AC, even if it isn't 'on'.
There's a site on the web which gives a blow by blow fix it description, but it's not
easy to do.
