230 had low battery last night. had put it to sleep. moved over to an outlet and
plugged it in. it had shut itself down. when i tried to power it up (pressing the
button by the screen above the keyboard) nothing happened. tried the three finger
method--nothing. then tried resetting the power manager. it made the sort of high
pitched sound it makes, but still nothing would work to turn it on. but evrer so
often (a couple of times a minute) it would make a real short high pitched sound like
the power manager was doing something and by the time i gave up (5 or 10 minutes or
so) the upper right quadrant of the bottom of the case was so hot it could have burned
you. (the area below the power manger reset button and modem/ram cards).
