I want to buy a light, simple, older duo to word-process on and do e-mail while on the road. It will be my first CPU-To-Go. (I have an iMac rev B and a Performa 600). Would some experienced Duo God answer these questions? Which would be better - 280c or 2300c? (good price on both) I want to load Word 5.1/Word 98, printer drivers for HP and Epson 600 printers, and Global Village 56 modem software onto it. I will use the external modem and drag it along with me. Does the printer port on the 280c or 2300c serve as the modem port? Will an external floppy be all I need? To get the software in and written stuff out to transfer if need be. If I went to a mini-dock or duo dock, could I use my Performa 600 monitor and keyboard and mouse? I am new to this, and eager to get this older stuff (I actually write more on my older desktop). Thanks! Peter Webster ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
