sounds like speed doubler or file sharing is on. speed doubler may
have invisible files like its cousin ramdoubler (I haven't poked around

try pulling the battery out. you may have to reset power manager
again, but then it should run off the a/c. if the battery is really shot,
it will kill the duo as soon as you put it in. if you don't want a gaping
hole in the front of the duo, put some tape over the electrical
contacts of the battery so it doesn't make a connection.
