I used 8.1 on my 2300c and it worked well (it also is great on my current
280). Definitely do 8.1 over 8.0, which had some bugs. If you're doing
Photoshop I suppose you'd want to use the smallest OS you could stand to
free up the most RAM.
I just started using Fontographer and it's great. Also, it must be the
ONLY current graphics/design program whose minimum system requirement is
6.0.7 (!!!).
