I've just found a 280c, and I'm now hunting for a dock (not a Duo Dock). My
almost only source of Duo equipment is eBay, which is more or less great,
depending on what you find and the price you pay (or others are crazy to pay
;-)

So, I've seen quite a few Apple's MiniDock, but they average about $75. I
know that those of you that bought these docks have probably paid a hefty
premium when they were still supported by Apple. But the thing is that there
is also a NewerTech UltraDock 16sce that is currently going for a little bit
over $10. Now, the price will probably increase, but there is also a new
auction for the Apple's Minidock that is already at $52 with almost 6 days
remaining in the auction.

I know the Apple one looks really nice, but does that justify paying 6 or 7
times the price of a similar model? BTW, not that I'm really looking into
it, but anyone knows if this NewerTech UltraDock 16sce can be hooked up to
another Mac computer, through the SCSI but, and have the Duo hard disk
mounts on the other Macintosh computer?

Opinions, info, whatever, gladly accepted.

-Laurent.
