Sure, and I'd have no problem with that. But I wrote down the serial numbers
for my boards before sending them in and verified that I got the same boards
back (the SN barcode stickers were intact). And the connector wasn't fixed,
at least not in the long-term - the problem came back after just over six
months the first time and under five months the second time. Plus the fact
that it's visibly coming apart under close inspection. I'd gladly have paid
them for a replacement CPU board, but they told me the problem was the logic
board the first time and the CPU the second - despite the fact that the
symptoms have been identical all three times (search way back in the DuoList
archives if you're curious). I'm not especially accusing them of anything,
but I can't see sending them my hardware again or paying them any more dough.

Anyway, I'll repeat my plea - does anyone have a spare original CPU board
from an upgraded 2400 that they can loan or sell me to test in place of mine?
An intermediate upgrade board for sale (240MHz for instance) would also be
worth a try; I could pay for it in advance on the condition that it be
returnable if it doesn't fix my 2400.
