Thats PC country honey!

If you just got it take it back and get a different one! Both of the ones I
bought were new and held for up to three hours. Don't forget it's a good
Idea to drain it and recharge a few times they hold a charge better. I
always drain it then let it charge for 24 drain again and charge another 24.
I also don't leave then in a charger.

Someone mentioned Fry's Electronics in Calif. So I bought one at Fry's
Sunnyvale store in the heart of Silicon Valley for $108 where I thought
the demand and turnover of these batteries would be high (thus assuring
I'd get a fresh battery). Turned out the battery held about a 25 minute
charge and now won't even boot the computer unless the power adapter
is plugged in.

I feel ripped. So now I am wondering if a better option is to have the old
batteries rebuilt by Batteries Plus - a national chain of battery stores?
