I am trying to figure out what type of baackup battery the duo series
uses. According to:

www.baber.com/baber/computer_clock_battery/apple.htm

the duos use a 6.0 V, 50 mAh backup battery, part number VL2330-2WR.
Now from looking at a backup battery I can see it is actually 2
units, about quarter coin sized, so this means each battery is 3.0 V,
50 mAh.

Looking at :

www.digikey.com/scripts/US/DKSUS.dll?Criteria?Ref=34877&Cat=13762973
(seach for "50 mAh, and click on Li batteries).

I see there are 2 close matches:

VL2330-1HF, BATT 3V 23MM 50MA LITH, COIN HORZ

VL2330-1VC,BATT 3V 23MM 50MA LITH, COIN VERT

So both are the right size (23 mm), right voltage and current. But
what does "horiz(ontal)" or "vert(itcal)" mean ?.

Anyone have any idea ?
