Im ususlly a list "lurker" on the many lists i belong
to, and yes you may delete this mail when I say im
mostly a PC/NT person (Web Developer) but I just
wanted to say how cool it was to find this list!
The company I work for is a we bit stingy with the
laptops so when they were junking a stack of computers
I nabbed a 6100 and a DuoDock about a year ago as
they were determined unusable (for office 98 etc..)
Well im here to say that was my best dumpster dive
ever! I had a friend in the It Department hash
together a Duo with everything spare we had in the
pile. I and my wife have used this little guy for a
year steady as our traveling laptop. What was Apple
thinking when they bailed on these?? Its not a
screamer like my p3 (yes P3) laptop and allright i
cant play Quake3 on it but We both travel alot with
family etc and it lives in my overnight bag. Its
Lite, has everything built in, no muss no fuss. We
ended up spending Christmas in a Hotel in NC with my
inlaws (Long story) and I grabbed a small program
that played xmas music and did this snow fall thingy
on the screen. Ill tell ya it had everyone smiling
and set the mood for a great holiday wen awry. Ill be
really sad if this guy ever bites the dust, but until
then I hope to pick a few tips off everyone here.

PS I dont think it will die anytime soon as I also
have a classic macSE that still runs fine.
