Greetings,

The PB170/4/40 (w/modem) is a nice little machine in good physical
condition. However it won't boot or run off of the battery. I know the
battery is good and the time/date is holding so I'm sure the PRAM battery is
good. I'm told that there is a small fuse on the circuit board that blows
easily and this prevents the 170s from accessing the battery. I had planned
to take care of the fuse before I sell it but haven't had time. Otherwise
it's a nice little laptop if your interested.

I use eBay as a pricing guide and I see 170s average $100. I would sell this
one for $60 with a good battery and AC adapter (M5651).

The Duo250 is a nice little machine also. I'm very impressed with the
quality of the screen. It's nice and sharp without any of the blurry streaks
of the passive matrix. Plus it's got a little extra oomph in the RAM and
drive department. No weinie 4MB here!

I'm in Indianapolis, IN 46268. I usually ship UPS Ground from work because
we ship daily where I work (restaurant equipment via mail order).

Let me know what you want!

Here's a list of what else I have:

1.) PB145/4/80 that works perfectly. Great Xtend battery, AC adapter M5651.
    Asking $55

2.) PB145 unknown config. I can hear it boot up but can't see anything
on the screen. It lights up but shows no image.
    Asking $25

3.) PB170 unknown config. Won't boot, big black spot on screen. There is
some case damage like it was dropped. I opened it up and everything
inside looks intact. The mounting points in the plastic case are,
for the most part broken off. Circuit boards all look good though.
    It also has a modem.
    Make offer.

4.) PB170 unknown config. Won't boot, Screen broken from hinges but LCD
looks good. There is some case damage like it was dropped. I haven't
opened it up to see what's inside. It also has a modem.
    Make offer

6.) Two good AC adapters (M5651). Asking $15 each

7,) 3 battery that I haven't had time to test.
