Let it sit overnight and let the gremlins drain out (seriously). if
that doesnt work, strip it down totally, and swap parts out and see
if it the motherboard causing the prblems. Double-check the silver
capacitors near the power plug for any scorch marks or smells.
You do have spare parts, dont you ? Any mad scientist worth his salt
should have a good stock of PARTS !

Dont panic. Worst case, I bet the motherboard is bad, and that isnt
the expensive part (the screen is).
Dont know about the EN/SC. A melted part is a "bad thing" in mad
scientist parlance. If you could find the same part and do some
surgery you might be able to fix it.
