Once again I'm not getting messages. I'm just getting the digest (delivered
to a different address) and finding out what I missed. I feel left out (tiny
violins).

I just saw your post Laurent:

I'm afraid I myself have 3 280 motherboard that, alas, are dead. And I
FEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLL...your pain as I KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLED one of them myself
[CHOKE]! A random screw drifting around inside the Duo landed on a circuit
and shorted it out. I should have opened the Duo up and looked for the
rattle instead of playing lazy and shaking into what I thought was an out of
the way place. Ohhhhh the humanity!

Do me a favor Laurent. If this message shows up, send a reply to my address
off list so that I know it was delivered to the list.

Thanks,
-Mark

P.S. as far as resetting the Power Manager is concerned. You may not be
holding down the power button on the back long enough. A recent post about
that corrected me and indicated that you should hold down the button for at
least 30-40 seconds.

I tried that an a Duo230 that was refusing to boot. After holding the button
down for the correct amount of time it fired right up. I was quite happy.

Also, as far as the EN/SC is concerned, there are no activity lights unless
the Duo is on. At least that's what I recall of mine.
