My dock also had crapped out some time ago. I had a card I put in the
dock to allowed for a second monitor. So I ran a crappie IBM 13" color
monitor (my company's) and my old 19" gray scale. It was real cool I
would like to know if someone knows of a more stable (more power) power
supply for the doc? Also if possible an external power supple would be
ok but I would rather deal with replacement or repair of the old supply.
To order a replacement for the supply through a Apple supplier used
Apple parts is a crock or money at the end of the rainbow (ha ha ha
sometimes a little disenchanted with Apple). HELP! I may try preowned
electronics but then we are back using the old under designed power
supple.

This was the problem with the old first macs up until or through the mac
plus. Cus I had one of and still have that old 68000 processor siting
on my shelf but had that power supple replaced when upgraded to 512k
from the original 128k of ram. Ha my G3 came with 128 megs. Ha figure
that is a 1000 times the ram huh guys and gals...things have changed but
we have to make sure good ol Apple puts out a decent product. I enjoy
hooking up the 2300c via apple link to the G-3. Then I get the other
drives and can move info without having a floppy. The 2300 does not
have a floppy without hooking up an external (bummer).
