I asked Bill the same thing. They are marked "Do not open until ready for
use"...or something similar. They are coming from an active repair facility so
we are assuming they have good shelf life, particularly given how long the PRAM
battery lasts in a working PB 2400. They are Ni-MH batteries,so while they
don't have the storage life of Lithium, I would expect as long as they remain
sealed they will not having the opportunity to start discharging. I hope so,
mine's going on the shelf.
It's going to be real wierd if in a couple of years PB 2400 batteries and PRAM
batteries are worth as much as the basic machine. :-)

My question
to the good folks here is: how old must be these batteries is these are
or9ogonal Apple
batteries made for the 2400 which has be discontinued years ago?
