Li-Ion batteries are nice, faster charge time and more life. The 
downside is the need for an ultra-inteligent charger to keep the 
batteries for overcharging, overheating, exploding, etc....

Once a battery is charged, it just like most other batteries. You can 
use Li-Ion, you just have to keep the Duo from charing it, or else, 
KABOOM!, you're Duo goes up in smoke just like a prototype PowerBook 
5300 :-) Nothing like an exploding PowerBook.
