Lately my 2400 (80MB Ram, 6Gig HD, OS 8.6) has been refusing to wake from sleep
until I do the key combination for a hot restart. Often you can hear the HD click
on and the screen lights up blankly and then goes no further until I do the
restart. Sometimes it takes a couple restarts to get it fully started. A few times
after starting up from a shut-down after a few minutes the mouse and screen freeze
and I need to do the hot restart. Most of the time it sits on my desk plugged into
the powerbrick. I rarely shut it down completely - usually just put it to sleep.
When I unplug the powerbrick the battery reports 20-30 minutes of charge left. Any
ideas about the waking from sleep problem?

John
