hi folks, I'm knew to the lists, I've been trying to fit an ATTO Silcon Express IV SCSI Nubus card in my dock II but neither a 280 nor a 2300c will boot up with it in. Happy Mac - but address error message later in boot process. Tried 7.5 though 8.0. Anybody know anything about comaptibilty. I've read that no powerbooks before the 3400 are SCSI Manager 4.3 compliant, might this be the reason. If the Atto one won't work then perhaps the FWB JackHammer won't either? I don't want to shell out more cash to end up failing again! I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has tried any sort of SCSI NuBus Card in their dock - successfully or not! kevin ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
