Thank you folks for the pointers to Mac2400. Great tutorial, was actually
pretty painless, if you ask me..

Anyway, I disassembled the little bugger, removed the HD, I/O board, RAM,
and processor (original 603e) and put it back together until I got the
power switch back on. Powered it on, and "BOONNGG!!!" It started right up
to a flashing question mark. YES! That shouldn't be a problem, I'll just
hook up a CD drive, no?

Well, I finished putting it together, hooked up a floppy with a disk tools
disk in it, and....no luck. It won't power on again. I have attempted to
disassemble it again, but not success in getting it started. It's currently
got the click/green light of death. This machine was apparently reported as
needing a new logic board by the seller. The diagnosis was done by a "local
repair shop", so I was kinda skeptical. Anyway, as I took it apart, it was
evident that not too much care was taken, for screws are missing and in the
wrong places.

Anyway, I'm looking to see if anyone has some sort of advice on this. Worse
comes to worse, I can order a motherboard from DT&T and install that. Would
I be better off sending it to DT&T? Or will they charge a lot for
installation?

Oh well, it's been fun, and as Mad Dog says: "SURJURY!!!!"

Tom

PS: I suppose that I should have substituted "IT'S ALIIIIIVEEE!!!!!" for
"BOONNGG!!!" above. My apologies to all of the Mad Scientists out there.
