I think Location Manager is wonderful. I have 2 settings. Home with DSL via
Ethernet and Work which is a dialup connection via an external modem.

I have a GV PowerPort Platinum Pro PC Card but I can't get the darn modem to
work. After reading the other thread about the GV card I may try some other
options.

I have Location Manager set to ask me where I am during startup and if I put
my PowerBook to sleep I just switch via the Control Strip. It's so easy. I
was able to learn how to set the thing up using the Mac OS Help in the
Finder. So simple!
