Are you implying that you used TechTool to reset the VRAM and it just
worked? Hmm....
Well, how does that fact that it works in the dock II seem to fit into this
risky VRAM scheme? Could it be that the Dock VRAM is still okay, but that
the Duo's isn't, so that it works in the dock, but not standalone?
Now I have to work up the courage to take the screen off of my Duo 230 to
see if that works on my 2300c. If not, then we have a starting point, at
least. Unfortunately, leaving it with the PRAM bett unplugged did not seem
to alleviate the problem.

PS: I assume that this was with TechTool Pro, not the "light" version....
