A few weeks ago I installed Gauge Pro, reading the recommendatins of manmy on this
list, to measure the temperature of my 2400 which had gotten so hot at times that the
trackpad burned my fingertips.

However, since I installed it, my computer is significantly cooler! No question about
it. Gone the too hot to touch trackpads, the hot spots underneath it when I pick it up.

I am curious if GP has actually done something miraculous to my processor or power
manager? GP was continuously running for many days but now it is not open. The little
beast is still much much cooler.

Anyone with ideas why?

Sandy
