Hi all, With my new PRAM battery and MiniDock, I seem to have solved the problems I had with my 2300c. But now I've noticed something new. There is a one-inch wide strip that runs from the top to the bottom of my screen that is often (but not always) faded out, for lack of a better word. Right now, for example, I have a deep blue desktop picture displayed, and where the strip is, the blue is faded like a pair of old jeans. After booting or restarting, the display will look perfectly normal (except for two stuck pixels). But after a while, the faded strip reappears. Sometimes I can see it flicker on and off, as if a light behind the screen is alternately dimming and brightening. The strip NEVER appears when the screen is black, gray, or white. And I don't think it's a problem with the pixels themselves, because when I ran an LCD-testing utility, the strip doesn't show up with any of the colors either. But when my screensaver (BlackWatch) kicks in, I can see the strip "flash" just before the screen goes completely dark. Any ideas?
