Thanks for the clipping. I had that, but on my powerbook!! So It was a great
help.
Sadly it didnt work
I have taken the whole thing apart and re assembled it agin. The big shock
was that there was a screw lose rolling about!!! A few more were not very
tight.
As bad as this sounds I am pretty sure it may not have been fatal as I had
had the machine start up with the screw in the position I found it.
I re-seated everything and tightend/put back all the screws.
All to no avail. The machine is now in a classic green light of death mode
with that green LED on permanatley. (how long will that PRAM Batt battery
last?)
I have tried resetting the powermanager for over 60 seconds with and without
the AC cord in and batt always out.
Nothing. Just that little click and the light goes off and on again.
