I'm almost 100% sure you can use the 28 meg in that machine... To get 
all kinds of info on old macs try www.everymac.com or 
www.lowendmac.com. that being said - I think those prices can be beat 
if you are willing to check out ebay. I just saw a 36 meg Duo module 
go for 89$ - but then again there is no warranty...
