OK, some more Duo battery musings:

ONE:
I have both a type 1 and 2 battery that I cannot get to work. I have
even gone so far as draining the batteries using DC fans and LEDs
down to about 2 V. However even after this, the batteries "claim" to
be charged in about 15 min and hardly hold any current. When I try
and recondition them, it sends my duodock into a crash-landing.

Is there anything else I can try ?

TWO:
On a more positive note, I got my re-built type 3 battery back. A
month or so ago I found a local place that could send out my Duo
battery for re-building, using _2700_ mAh cells.

I gave them a dead type 3 batt, and I got it back this week. It did
not come back fully charged, so after about an hour or so of charging
I ran my duo on it. Success ! I ran my Duo 280c for about 1.5 hours
without letting the screen dim or the duo go to sleep, and I still
had 50% battery life left.

Is this good ?

I told this place (www.batteryclinic.com) that I would tell the Duo
list and see if anyone was interested.

THREE:
Who sells duo parameter RAM batteries ? I forgot, and have been
unable to find anyplace to rebuild the old cells.

thanks,

Mad Dog
