Tom,
I've got a 2300 board that I was going to try and transplant into a perfectly
good 280c, but I'm not sure if it works - the unit was pretty badly damaged.
It does chime upon powerup, so that is a start...
if it would help you out of a jam, you are welcome to it. As I said, it might
work, but then again it might not, once everything was hooked up.
