After fighting with it for the better part of a day, I have found that the Toshiba HDD2981 laptop hard drive it just plain incompatable with the 2400c. It works fine until you try to sleep then wake up, any your gretted by a gray screen that won't go away untill you hit the reset button (followed by a GLOD) This hard drive was loaned to me by a Lombard owning friend who had upgraded to a 25gig. So, if you have a Toshiba HDD2918, don't bother taking the 15 minutes to install it on you 2400.
