Raising does seem to improve cooling. But I found that the BookEndz
restricts the cooling a bit.
Don't remember who wrote the advice some time ago, but resting the
very back edge of the 2400 on the edge of a magazine or even just a
pencil, was the cheapest and simplest quick improvement. I swear by
it. Similarly raising the back end of the BookEndz works too, though
not quite as well.
And it costs nothing.
Weather being what it is presently in England, I can also confirm
that working in a cold room does wonders for the temperature too. : )
