O.K. after latenight coffees with my Mac guru friend, Cristian [shameless plug, visit his site http://www.control-click.com ] we were trying to figure out ways around my problem of not having SCSI on my desktop Mac anymore. I have a G4 now. So how do most of you listers install software, etc. on your 2400c? My pal was suggesting the possibility of setting up a Ram Disk and trying to boot from that, while connecting to my G4 with an ethernet pass-through cable. That would allow me, theoretically, to wipe my hard drive and install whatever I want. But how to perserve the Ram Disk for the reboot is the problem. Maybe I'm over-complicating this. Any suggestions. *** Ajax ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables.
