This Duo 2300c has been my primary machine for the past two years,
used for word processing, Internet and email access (both via a modem
and via Ethernet), some low-level website creation, listening to MP3s,
calendaring and basically everything else. It has served me well on a
daily basis in Washington, Boston, the Middle East, the Caribbean and
a host of other locations. I consider it a fully capable machine for a
wide range of purposes, but I recently moved to a 400 mHz PowerBook
Bronze and would like to find the Duo an appreciative home. I hope
that this listserv will be the place to find a new owner for it, and
deeply appreciate the assistance and insight I've gained from the Duo
community over the past two years on everything from battery
reconditioning to Ethernetting to you name it!
The package consists of:
PowerBook Duo 2300c
770 MB Hard Drive
100 mHz PowerPC 6032 processor

Apple Microphone

E Chess 4.02, numerous others
Misc. Software: Graphing calculator, various astronomy software,
Mangia (recipe software), Tape Labeler, Dictionary, many more
I am asking $350 plus the actual cost of shipping for the entire
package. I believe that's a fair price, given comparisons on eBay for
similar packages. If you believe the price is too high, make an offer,
but I believe the price is within range for a machine that is fully
workable in every aspect and has some nice additional features and
software. (If you have any interest in a hulking original 1x Apple
CD-ROM drive, that runs through the SCSI adapter, I'll send it free
but you have to pay shipping.)

Yours in Macintosh appreciation,
