Everyone is talking thinkness, but what about volume and density? PowerBook 2400c: Width: 10.5 Depth: 8.4 Height: 1.9 Volume (W*D*H) = 167.58 cubic inches Weight = 4.4lbs Weight per cubic inch = .02625611648 lbs PowerBook G4 (Titanium) Width: 13.5 Depth: 9.5 height: 1 Volume (W*D*H) = 128.25 cubic inches Weight = 5.3lbs Weight per cubic inch = .04132553606 lbs So if the 2400c was as densly packed as the TiBook, it would weigh almost 7 pounds! The TiBook really is smaller, but more densly packed, so it will feel heavyier that a 2400c when you pick it up (thansk to the tricks you eyes and brain play on you) But, the TiBook bizzare proportions help with that too.
