Good point, Bob. Rarely, if ever, though, am I using the machine off grid. The places I use it most each have an AC adapter there to plug into. When I am using it, it is typically in stretches exceeding even the long battery life of the Ti-Book. Thus, I would have to have an AC adapter with me anyway. I don't fly much, so that form factor doesn't matter to me as much, and when I do fly, it's typically with my young children, so I don't want them anywhere near my computer on the plane. I wonder what the ac adapter for the TiBook weighs, though! I never thought I'd engender this much discussion, but I think both are great machines, and since I've already paid off the 2400, it's easier for me to convince myself that it's the superior machine. If someone gave me a TiBook, though, I'd be willing to unload my Comet cheap! <G> I know it would be easier to put a new hard drive in the TiBook, that's for sure. BTW, the original point of the post was to sell my hard drive. I have one response on that. Anyone else? Dave >-Bob wrote > >Dave - one more factor to consider - battery life.
