I have a powerbook duo 2300 running MacOS 8.6, Netscape communicator 4.5. Everything is configured and ready for the net. i am , however, having problems logging on. I keep getting the message that netscape is un able to connect. I've also tried IE 4.5 but without success. I have two questions. 1) How do i find out whether this duo has an internal modem? 2) Can i hook up an external modem? The computer was not giving this option when it came to choosing a modem. I have dsl at home with a portable account (meaning i also have a dial up service). I need to use the duo at my second job during the weekends when i'm away from home. p/s the questions involve setting up the powerbook 2300 without the dock since it has the relevant connections.
