I use a 2300c 56Mb 1.1Gb Os8.6 as my primary portable machine and wonder whether anyone can give an indication of the potential for improved performance I might see by changing the slow Apple HD for something larger and faster. Also, if US owners have tried the standard Express Modem in Europe (especially UK) with success I'd like to hear about it. I have the irritating miniDin8 one with the external grey box DAA but my travels take me all sorts of places where this isn't authorized for use and if I could dump the box it would be great!
