Folks I stopped my tests to try to measure Os 9.1 effect on battery life.
Because the battery isn't brand new its impossible to tell whether
degradation is caused by the OS or the age of the battery.

But I will say that I've switched back to OS 8.6. There's between a 10
second and 30 second gain in boot speed, depending on what I'm loading,
and I've shaved more than 5mb off the system Ram requirements.

BTW, GoLive 4.0 is very very responsive on my un-modified lil beast,
faster even than Dreamweaver 2.0. I tried Freeway, as some on the list
suggested, but the cost is prohibitive since I already own the others.
Couldn't justify the expense.

Is anyone out there still using Claris Emalier on their PBs?
I still find it to be the best email client out there. Wish it did IMAP,
but other than that it's wonderfully stingy on system requirements and
great scripting. Goes to show how a good piece of engineering is hard to
kill.
