If you have a hard drive >4GB regardless of how it is partitioned, SCSI
Dock mode does not work and can damage the file system of the powerbook.
At least that is the case with the 1400, the 2300 and the 5300, I'm not
sure, but I thought that the rest of the PPC laptops fixed this.  If not
maybe the first generation PCI powerbooks like the 2400 are in that group
too.
